A return to roots show for Honeymoon Suite

NIAGARA FALLS (February 5, 2019) ‒ Going back to the city where it all began, April 9 will be something of a return to roots for Honeymoon Suite.

“It’s a big treat for us to welcome home a band that got its start here more than 35 years ago,” says Noel Buckley, President & General Manager, Niagara Falls Convention Centre. “If their name and 2008 album Clifton Hill are any indication of where they’re from, Honeymoon Suite’s connection to Niagara Falls runs deep.”

After a Toronto radio contest helped put them on the map, the band toasted their debut success by opening for legendary acts like Jethro Tull, Billy Idol, Journey, and Heart. When their songs weren’t being lent to blockbuster movie soundtracks, they could also be found scaling the Canadian music charts. Now, several platinum-selling albums later, many of its original members have reunited not only to share several of their newly recorded singles but also to perform most of their classic rock hits.

Opening up for Honeymoon Suite at 7:30 p.m. will be Revive the Rose, a popular group of local rockers based out of Welland.

Tickets for this Live by the Falls show start at $32 (plus taxes and fees) and go on sale this Thursday at 10 a.m.. They will be available for purchase online at fallsconventions.com, by phone at 1-888-997-6222, and by visiting Niagara Falls Convention Centre’s Box Office at 6815 Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls.
