About 30 million visitors cross the border every year from the United States into Canada by car; an additional 18 million visitors a year arrive by boat or airplane from the U.S. and every other nation on earth.
U.S. & Canadian citizens are required to present one of the following documents for entry into the United States by land or sea from Canada.
- U.S. passport card
- Enhanced drivers license
- U.S./CAN passport
- Nexus card
